posting of word files with tables

Still doesn’t work with Firefox and when I used Chrome it put in extra spaces between all the paragraphs that would need to be individually removed. So, not good in either browser.

@4gravitonsandagradstudent thanks for letting me know. You might try Chrome as an alternative, as it generally has been behaving better. At this point I don’t have any other updates on this, but I’ll let you know.

Win 8.1, Firefox 28.0, OpenOfficeWriter: When pasting into WordPress (source file) all formatting is now ok, including spacing between text and citation.
After publicizing or actualizing, the source WP file remains ok, but in the final posting the space line between text and citation and the space line between citation and text are lost (bug).

I use Word 2010 and Chrome. I have a lot of bullets, and have them in 2 levels.
Previously, these levels were maintained when I pasted from word using the paste from word tool.
But now, it’s completely broken. When I paste directly from Word, the first level of bullets comes out as bullets, but the second level comes out as ‘o’ with a few spaces.E.g. instead of:
- First level bullet
Second level bullet
I get this:
- First level bullet
o Second level bulletIn Text it shows the HTML correctly, but in Visual and on the page it shows ‘o’s.
Help!
- First level bullet
-
slight modification – I was looking at the wrong page – in Text it shows ‘o’s instead of bullets as well
