posting date inaccurate
-
I posted yesterday, but the date on the post says June 14th & it’s not showing up as the most recent post. I had earlier drafts. Why is the posting date inaccurate?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ve seen this happen once in a great while, and no idea why. In general, the date will always reflect the date you publish it unless you manually go in and change the time of publishing (future or past).
First, make sure your time zone is set right at settings > general.
You can if you wish edit that time-traveling post and change the post date to the day you want it in the publish module at upper right on the editor page, and then click the update button.

thanks – I figured out that I can go in & edit the publish date. appreciate the response!!

Windows live writer for some reason will freeze the time date at the time the draft was uploaded – the first time the date thing happened I uploaded a draft Post and spent a couple of days fine tuning it and then the date was set earlier than when it was actually published – so now I fine tune the time / date stamp as required

You be welcome
It was real confusing when I first noticed the “feature” and was trying to figure out if I was doing something wrong
