post cuts off when emailed
-
I’m using the Skeptical theme, and when a new post is sent out by email (either automatically when published or via the ‘share’ button), only the excerpt of the post is shown. I don’t include a manual excerpt in the post, and in the “Reading” options I changed the option “For each article in a feed, show “.
What settings do I need to change so that the full post goes out by email, and doesn’t get cut off? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Look at what is displayed in your feed please https://abnormaldata.wordpress.com/feed/
Here are the themes that do provide that feature > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/theme-with-automatic-excerpts?replies=13#post-1396410 Is your themes listed there?
If the answer is no then go to Dashboard > Settings > Reading and enable fill post display in the feed rather than summary.
If the answer is yes here’s a workaround. You compose your whole post first and before you publish it you switch to the HTML (Text) editor, copy the code, paste it into the Excerpt box, and publish the post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/excerpts/#creating-excerpts This will have to be done on every post.

Thanks, but my theme is not on that list, yet there is no option in Reading to enable “fill post display”. The feed also only shows the excerpt.

You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and navigate to Settings > Reading
http://abnormaldata.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.phpthen scroll down to:
For each article in a feed, show
__Full text
__Summary“save changes”

Yes, that’s what I meant above – I already changed “”For each article in a feed, show ” to Full Text.
