Add topic to favorites
I would like to activate the PrivaKey plugin which is available in wordpress.com (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpprivakeysignon/). I’d like to use this plugin to improve security on my wordpress.com account.

Are plugins available to wordpress.com? If yes, how do I activate it? The plugins section of my account doesn’t allow me to add this.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No. The section you are looking at is only for blogs with Business upgrades as they have limited ecommerce plugins https://en.support.wordpress.com/ecommerce/

You are confusing wordpress.com hosted blogs and wordpress.org software installs.

There is no FTP access https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/ and no blogger installed plugin capability. Blogger installed plugins are not permitted here at WordPress.com for various security reasons. No upgrade changes that reality. https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

There is no way to have paid memberships or membership by registration sites on a wordpress.COM hosted site or to have FTP access and plugin functionality. For that type of functionality, you’d need a self-hosted WordPress.ORG software install running on a paid web hosting service.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins (passwords), features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
