plan change

    I upgraded to the premium plan a while ago, but when I went to wordpress today it shows me as being back on the standard plan. I don’t want to pay twice. I’m not sure how to check what happened and what to do next.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Every premium plan subscription is for a single year and it must be renewed for the same amount prior to expiry.

    We need details please.
    1. What is the domain URL?
    2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
    3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
    4. When was the upgrade purchased?

  • ahah, that makes sense, thank you. I did wonder, it’s just that when I clicked through the paying for an upgrade to see if I could find out what was going on the legal speak seemed to imply that my renewal money would automatically be taken in future, hence my “I don’t want to pay twice” comment.

    The site is prolificprojectstarter.wordpress.com, I haven’t taken them up on the domain name. I don’t know when the upgrade was purchased, how would I find that out?

  • Howdy, let’s see if we can get this sorted out.

    So, WordPres.com Premium was purchased on 2015-07-03. Meaning that it wouldn’t expire until July 3rd. However, I’m seeing that you canceled the upgrade June 25th for some reason. Perhaps by accident?

    If you like, I can add Premium back onto your site.

    Thanks for replying, I have no idea how to cancel an upgrade so it was most definitely an accident. Yes, please could you ask premium back to my site and let me know if it I should expect to be prompted for next years payment on July 3rd or if the payment will be collected automatically.
