Pingbacks

    I’m fairly new here, and am now getting something called “pingbacks,” in my comments. All of them link back to sites such as baby clothes and BBq’s and other stuff. I then see a link back to my site, stating that my blog also does baby clothes or BBQ’s which it does not. What exactly is a pingback and are these good or bad…Seems to me they are not exactly the type of links I want.

    Can you mark them as spam from under “Comments” in your dashboard?

    Yes, I went to the comments section and found a spam and delete function. I deleted all of them…I had another one, when I came back on tonight. I think your right, in that they may be all spam.
