I have a photoblog I just started too. There’s actually nothing to it actually, just post your photo’s and it’s a photoblog :)
There are no rules or sumting like that if you’re wondering. It’s your blog and you can post whatever, however you want.Mine can be found at: http://tpata.wordpress.com/
Maybe it can be of help :)

was more wondering how to get my site looking like yours, e.g. change the title bar etc. ive changed the layout but cant seem to edir much else apart from that, i dont no coding but i was wondering how else i could edit the page to make it idfferent?
-
Well you changed the header already right? Unless you pay for the upgrade (in which you can change the CSS etc), you’re pretty much confined. It also depends on the theme you choose, some theme’s allow more customization than others. I also don’t know much coding (ok basic things like changing the color of text etc I know) but there are quite some ways to get away with this. Just think outside the box, or in this case, your blog’ theme boundaries.

collie. but im trying to figure out how to insert a pic, i did it but it wont fit on the page? i dont understand how to make sure a picture will fit on the page properly, its chopped a bit of it off (you can see the pic on the first post of my blog). i’ve put it down to 60% but even then it doesnt fit in – anyone know how to get it to? ive no idea apar from resizing it myself but that still doesnt help as i have no idea of the limit, plus id quite like to keep the pictures a bit bigger so if people click on them it gets bigger?
is this possibel..

right ill explain more, its makes no sense. see how on your photblog when you click on a picture, it opens into another page with more detail> how did you do this, alos isthere an auto resize tool that can just reduce my pics on the main page then show the fullsize one once you click on it?
-
As far as I can see, nothing wrong with the pic, it sits nicely in the middle (the pic with the peace sign right). Every theme has a different maximum width of displaying pictures, yours is 497 pixels (print screen and measure the width of the column, think versatile). So size your images so that it’s 497 px or less.
As for a bigger image when you click it, it’s possible, I just saw it explained on the forums the other day. Forgot where though, you have to browse a bit.

At mines I just linked the image to the actual post, the way you would do with an image button. Here’s explained how to add a link to an image: http://www.pageresource.com/html/image3.htm
I wouldn’t rely on auto resize tools also (if there are any), you want the best quality possible, so I’d create a small version and a separate large version and have the small version link to the big version. (or opt for the ‘click-to-view-larger-version’ method which I said was on the forums not too long ago).

nice one – that explained my biggest frustration with this process so far ;)
especailyl the bit about what my maximum width is! do you know what the height is (is it called height?) sorry for al lthe questions but i am rubbish at maths! will be much easier resizing things, all my pics are different sizes and to get that one to vaguely fit i had to reduce it to 60% then raise it to around 130% of 60% haha.
:)

height? aww c’mon, that’s a no-brainer! hahaha
Blogs work vertically, no limit there. You could make a picture thats 497 x 10000 pixels if you like.:P
