  I have several photo albums already watermarked. Is there a way I can import the entire file without having to select each photo? If not, how do I create an album before creating and importing it to a created gallery?

  you can upload multiple media the same way you upload 1 photo, https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media/
  After you uploaded your photos, you can organise them in a gallery, https://en.support.wordpress.com/gallery/
