People’s comments being cut off after first few words!

Yesterday I uploaded a post about the death of my brother. One person commented fine and I responded. The next two comments have been cut off after the first few words- a bit odd!
Any ideas?

Is this oddity happening only on this post on your site or on others as well?
Are the comments themselves appearing in full in your site’s dashboard>Comments?
