‘Page not found error’ with TranslatePress
-
Hello,
I am building a Blogging-website in Spanish (main language) and Portuguese with the TranslatePress-plugin. The blog appears correctly in both languages, if I start out from the Spanish version and switch to Portuguese. However, if I start out from any other page in Portuguese (all of them appearing correctly) and switch to the Blog-page, the message ‘Page not found’ appears.
Any ideas how to solve that? Many thanks!

Hi there,
I do not see any sites under your WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.
Is it possible you created your site under a different login? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with? Are you using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc?
Happy to look it up in our system so we can take a closer look.

Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
https://wordpress.org/support/ is a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
And, you can find support for TranslatePress at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/translatepress-multilingual/
