ongoing auto update upgrade for beta desktop

    ongoing problems that i already complained about

    i was this morning stuck at 6.03.1 beta

    i upgraded manually to 6.03 stable

    i want now what i see is the current 6.04.1 beta

    i am as i explained before set my config to beta releases

    why does the auto pop up to upgrade working?

    all what i explained before is still in effect “beta not installing”

    it has been way too long months w/o a fix

    please help

    i want that pop up in desktop to upgrade to current beta for win10 desktop asap

    Looks like we have an answer this time. :)

    The Windows Desktop app was moved to a different repository, so the app you have is looking in the wrong place for the beta builds.

    You’ll need to fully uninstall the app and re-download it from https://apps.wordpress.com/desktop/ then switch the channel to beta in Preferences and re-start the app.
