Add topic to favorites
I am unable to delete an old account because I forgot the password. The account is associated with an old school email that has since been deleted by the institution. I would appreciate help finding another method of verification.

Hey there, can you send a link to the site?

Generally speaking, we do have to have convincing evidence that the account actually belongs to you. Otherwise, anyone could walk in and take over your site just by saying it’s theirs.

Your previous school may also be willing to help you if you get in touch with their IT.

Is there a way to privately email you?
I completely understand the challenges of identity verification. I would be happy if the admin just deleted the account for me. It has not been active since 2014 or 2015.

I currently work for this University, but as a consolidation happened several years ago the information is difficult to obtain. After I graduated, I began working as a staff member. I have an updated email account with this University as well as a page that provides my name, picture, and staff information. Would that work to verify my identity?
