I am trying to find the file that contains the home icon for Nucleare in the menu. Any suggestions?
The blog I need help with is marianchristiepoetry.net.
What exactly are you trying to do?
We don’t give direct access to theme files on WordPress.com, and even on a self-hosted installation of WordPress where you do have that access it’s never recommended to modify any theme, plugin or Core files directly.
I am trying to create a child theme of Nucleare and I am trying to replace all the Font Awesome icons with the icons from Google Material. Is this possible?
The only references to FontAwesome I can find in Nucleare is in the
style.cssfile where it’s called as the font-family for certain elements, the
font-awesome.cssfile in the CSS folder, and the fonts folder containing the actual font files.
I’m guessing the second one there is the file you’d need to replace, but you’d also need to replace wherever in the code that file is being called, as well as any CSS styles that reference the font.
That’s as much as I’m able to help you – creating child themes is outside the scope of support for the Business Plan and we recommend that you hire a freelancer from Upwork.com should you need any more help creating your child theme:
