Non WP users forced to leave comment …Comment Settings are Unchecked

    Non-WP users are being forced to create a WP account to like or leave a comment. My comment setting “Users must be registered and logged in to comment ” is not checked.

    I have had several people who are NOT associated with a WordPress account try to leave comments as well. My blog url is ladybugsinwonderland.com Please help

    Howdy,

    If someone wants to Like a post or page, they will need to create a WordPress.com account.

    However, if someone is trying to leave a comment with their email address, and they’re prompted to log in, they can reset the password linked to their account by entering their email address here:

    http://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
