    How do I import email addresses from my Gmail contact list so they will receive an email notification every time I publish I new post?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I have the same question…. except I would like to know how to switch the RSS feeds to go stratight to email instead of to a reader or a home page? Thanks, Lindsey George [email removed – Mark]

    Dont’ post your email in the forum, spammers will grab it.

    If you do a search of the FAQ for “email updates” this is what you find:

    You cannot import email addresses to a WP.com blog.

    Well, it seems to me there are ways to import addresses, but for some reason we do not have access to them. I saw a friend working on a WordPress blog that has a “Post Notification” hyperlink (under “Settings”) which has several options: “Manage Addresses” (you can add as many as you want), “List Addresses”, “Export Addresses”, “Delete Addresses”, etc. You can queue notifications, so they will be send any time after the post has been published. More than two hundred people get each post when published. My WP blog doesn’t show all those options. Maybe an upgrade (paid) WP version is required?
