Need help with formatting 20,000 song titles!!

    Hello! I am trying to put my karaoke songbook online so people don’t have to look through those stupid notebooks. I need it to be mobile-friendly, obvi, and easily searchable.

    I just pasted the songs onto a page and did a search widget, but there’s nearly 21,000 titles and it either crashes or takes forever to load. It’s just not workable this way. Is there some way to format it differently? Do I need to do ten pages with 2,100 titles on each?

    Please help!! I have a big show in two days and anticipated this would be easier than it is :/

    Hi @girlonpiano,

    I would suggest breaking them down a bit more to increase page load speed. Perhaps you could create a page for each letter of the alphabet or group them together (like A-D) and only list the corresponding songs on each page. 2000 songs per page will load much quicker than 21,000.
