need help changing A-records/CNAME records with the new domains interface

    Hi,

    I need help with updating the A and CNAME records for the site:
    https://mygoodmeasure.wordpress.com. I have been trying for days now with no luck. I have mapped the domain name to good-measure.co.uk which worked.

    I’ve successfully done this for a couple of other sites in the past, as the records I had for these site’s previous domains matched the fields on your domain page. This time they don’t. And having had a quick look through the help area, I believe you’ve updated the domain page since then.

    Basically, I am having trouble with what to enter under ‘name’ for the A records and ‘Host’ for the CNAME records.

    Under name I have tried:
    1 – cpanel.goodmeasure.co.uk as well as just cpanel
    2 – webmail.goodmeasure.co.uk as well as just webmail
    3 – autoconfig.goodmeasure.co.uk as well as just autoconfig
    4 – autodiscover.goodmeasure.co.uk as well as just autodiscover

    One word alone was invalid, so have put that word in front of goodmeasure.co.uk (as above). That is how it stands currently.

    Under host I have tried:
    mail.goodmeasure.co.uk as well as just mail

    This time both mail.good-measure.co.uk and mail were invalid so I couldn’t proceed any further and therefore have no idea if what I entered for the A records was correct or not.

    Could anybody help? Have an inpatient client on my hands!!
