Need my domain unlocked and there is no customer service provided to do so.

I added “modlook” to this thread for Staff help.
How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question

Howdy!
I’ll be happy to take a look at the status of the domain. If it is locked for transfer then we can’t do anything to speed that along. Please confirm which domain you need assistance with.

Hi @lettingthelightinblog, this domain isn’t actually on your account. It’s owned by another user. If you can log in as that user, you can unlock it on your own. If it helps, you can actually just log out, then log in using the email address that gets renewal notifications.
We can’t unlock it for you though, since you aren’t properly authorized.

Never mind. WordPress is useless and major pain in the rear, so I’m going to create a new domain with a service that ACTUALLY HAS CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Thanks for the convoluted attempt at help… seriously, this customer service is a joke.

Alright. In the meantime if you want access to the domain, log in as the owner of it & you’ll be on the right track from there. You’ll also get access to direct support since you’ll be using a paid account. If it helps, the domain owner is the one who gets renewal emails, so you can log out and log in using that address if you have access.
If we were to unlock domains for people who don’t own them, we’d have all sorts of trouble, so thanks for understanding why we can’t unlock it without authorization.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread.
