Navbar Error in Mobile version
-
Hello, everyone!
I don’t really know how to describe the problem. When I check my site on mobile testers my navbar moves down covering my header. I checked other site with the same theme and there the navbar stays/shows properly on top.
Here are photos of the problem: https://victoriadragomirovablog.files.wordpress.com/2017/05/navbardown3.png
https://victoriadragomirovablog.files.wordpress.com/2017/05/yogadiaries-navbar.pngWhat could possibly be the problem. I have no access to CSS so the changes I made are just regular basic changes. The theme is Twenty Eleven. Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
P.S. The first photo is my blog. The second one (which shows properly) a random blog I show as an example.

Actually nothing wrong, you’re just logged in and I think some codes break the layout. Can you try the site incognito mode or logout and check again?
-
Hello! :)
I checked it logged out but the navbar disappears so no much point in this. Then I checked it from my daughter’s account that has absolutely no connection with my blog and still the same thing.
I thought it might be the position of my background (fixed/unfixed), but not that either. I really have no idea what it might be.
Thank you for taking time to read the post and offer suggestion. :)

The theme was quite outdated to be honest and I think that’s why it’s the issue.
I also have problem viewing when logged in. http://imgur.com/WUiH8Km
but no problem when I’m logged out (or using incognito)
http://imgur.com/6EK3ZrQso if majority of your readers are non wordpress users, it shouldn’t be an issue since the bar won’t show up.
However if that still bothers you, I suggest that you change the theme.

I checked it on other blogs using exactly the same theme and it only gives error on my blog, so I think it is something else. I have another blog using the same theme and it works fine. I wonder what I did (wrong) to create this :) I really love this theme.
Anyway, thank you once again! I’ll keep looking for the glitch. Have a great day :)

I tried changing the theme but the same glitch remains. It must be some error in my particular blog, but I don’t know how to fix it.
I really hope someone will be able to help. Thank you!

For temporary solution, you can try this in your customize > edit css:
@media screen and (max-width: 480px) { #wpadminbar { position: fixed; } }
This is what it should be after you apply the code:

I’ve tried it in my own test site and the admin bar appeared just nice. Can you try temporarily disable widget (by removing them) and enable them one by one and check if any of those affect the admin bar.
Sorry I don’t have any access to your blog so this is the best I can suggest.
-
Thank you! I’ve been thinking about the widgets too. I will try it :)
I don’t have access to CSS so I haven’t changed anything there.
Thanks once again! -
Hello, just to let you know, it was indeed a widget. I am not sure which as I removed them all and I will be moving my blog, but it is a widget issue. Thanks. I am marking this one as “resolved” :)
