My tags and categories not showing in Reader

I’ve read the Support document about tags and categories in the Reader (very helpful) but I really cannot see what I’m doing wrong or why my posts are not displaying any tags or categories in the Reader. I do not exceed the 15 total tags/categories. The content isn’t adult-rated. I’d really appreciate advice about this please!

Hi there.
I think the issue here might be which tags you’re using. I picked two of your tags and searched them in the Reader and your blog came up, meaning your posts are being listed, but ONLY your blog came up, meaning you’re the only person who uses those tags.
For example, searching your tag “setting yourself writing goals” brings up only your blog, but “writing goals” brings up many blogs. Using too long or too unusual tags like you do is ineffective, as no one ever searches for tags like those. Rather use tags that people are likely to search.
Also, at fourteen categories and tags combined you’re pushing the limit. It might be that your most recent posts aren’t appearing because of that. Cut back on your tags and categories and things should return to normal.
Categories are intended more for internal blog organisation – a way to broadly classify your posts inside your blog itself – so six categories for one post is a bit much. You can use more tags than categories, but also don’t see the limit as a target. The rule of thumb is to use as few tags and categories as possible, and make sure the ones you do use are absolutely relevant.

On another note, I see in your last post you added the code to show how you formatted your poetry, but it looks as if not all the code posted and not in the correct format (ironically).
