Hi Donna –
It looks like you have a self-hosted WordPress blog with HostGator. This forum is for sites hosted on WordPress.com.
It looks like there’s an issue with some files in your installation, your best bet is probably to check in with the support forum for self-hosted sites over at https://wordpress.org/support/.
I hope that gets you started in the right direction!

Hi Bruce,
I have had that domain name for about 20 years, I don’t want to loose it, but I don’t really know the advantage of having a wordpress.com site or a wordpress.org site. I know that this isn’t the original question, just didn’t know the pluses and minuses and if I should just move it.
Thanks
