Moving stats from wordpress.com to wordpress.org

Hi ,

I like to move the stats and subscriptions from my blog
to my self hosted wordpress.org site . I have installed jetpack plugin Kindly help me .

Once you’re all linked up with Jetpack you can visit your blogs in WordPress.com:

http://wordpress.com/my-blogs/

Under your new WordPress.org site, select Manage. In that pane, you’ll see a space to select a WordPress.com site to transfer your followers from!

It looks like your posts from lakshmiammal.wordpress.com don’t line up with the posts at cookfoodservelove.com. What I mean is that the post ids are off. For example, this post has a post id of 601:

Sirukeerai / Amaranthus

While the corresponding one here has a post id of 679:

http://cookfoodservelove.com/wp/blog/2014/12/sirukeerai-amaranthus/

Because of this, transferring your stats will not work correctly.

Can I reassign ids in my new web blog? Is that a possibility? I deleted few obsolete posts , wondering if that is the reason .. your thoughts please?

Unfortunately, there’s no way to change the post ids other than reimporting those posts. And the best way would be a clean WordPress install.

I can still merge your stats without fixing that. This will show your overall stats, like ‘views per day’ but anything post-specific will not be associated with the correct posts.

Let me know how you’d like to proceed.
