    Hi,
    I’m starting to somewhat understand CSS, however, the whole margins, border, padding thing has me baffled. I’ve been trying to move the date stamp so it sits just underneath the post title. Can someone help me with this?
    Thanks in advance.

    Oh, one last thing…the “leave a comment” is running right through the post border. How can I move it a little to the left? I also want to move it a little bit higher so it’s at the same height as the “categories” link.
    Thanks!

    It is your “left” value below that was causing the issue. You had 185px.

    .postmetadata .date {
    left: 40px;
    position: absolute;
    top: 40px;
    }

    The “leave a comment was outside because the width in the following was too wide and outside your defined red dashed outline. It was at 575px and I changed it to 500.

    .postcontent, .results {
    width: 500px;
    }
