Monetising my blog for subscriber only

    when I hosted my site myself I had a plugin which allowed me to write and give readers a certain amount of information for free, then to charge for the remainder of the blog – I want to separate the info I give people and keep the valuable stuff paid subscription only – it this possible using WordPress.com and if so how do I do it?
