Mobile menu doesn't open

    On our homepage http://www.altlauri.eu the menu button doesn’t work. What should we do?

    The theme is Barnsbury.

  • Hi Maret,

    The mobile menu button works fine for me on another site using this theme, so the problem appears to be specific to your site.

    Can you please try disabling all plugins except Jetpack, and see if that helps? If it does, re-enable your plugins one at a time until the menu button stops working, to find out which plugin is causing this.

    Let me know if disabling plugins make no difference.

    Support for WordPress themes are not provided by the community in the general WordPress forums, but by the companies who make the respective themes. Barnsbury is made by Automattic, and there isn’t a subforum for this theme on WordPress.org, so this forum is the correct place for the OP to get help with this.

  • @maretkes, have you added any custom CSS to your site?

    There also seems to be an issue with your Jetpack connection so, although it shouldn’t affect your menu button, it would be great to eliminate it.

    The issue I’m seeing is with the XML RPC endpoint on your site. Jetpack requires access to the XML RPC and problems accessing it could be due to another plugin, a security module, or a block on your server. As a first step to fixing this, I’d recommend contacting your host to see whether they block XML RPC and if so, to unblock it for Jetpack (they can find our IP range here https://jetpack.com/support/hosting-faq/).
    Let us know what you hear back from your host, and we’ll retest the Jetpack connection once ready.
