Missing left sidebar options on Dashboard

Add topic to favorites
My friend added me as a user on her blog http://rayrayshippe.wordpress.com to “fix” some issues she’s having setting it up, since I already have a wordpress blog. Well, when you are in Dashboard’s main page, there are missing options from the left sidebar. Specifically Media, Links, Pages, Appearance, Users and Settings. It sounds like they either weren’t there or just disappeared according to her so I can’t be more specific about what happened. She’s new to blogging and confused. I was just wondering if its possible to reset the whole blog to original default so she can start from scratch. Thank you for your time :).

She needs to change your “role” to administrator. Anything less (contributor, author or editor) and you do not have permission to change or edit the blog settings.
