[meta] Why Are Unfinished Topics Being Closed?
-
Hi, I’m really frustrated that I have posted twice in this forum and both times my threads were closed, one with zero replies, the other closed with one reply that really called for follow up. There doesn’t seem to be a way for me to re-open the post, so I had to create a new one. This just seems like a big waste for everyone. People are going to find the first post in search results and waste time reading it, though the topics were not resolved.
What is the policy with this? Am I doing something wrong in my posts that is causing them to be closed? It takes me a long time to reply because our club is volunteer-run, so if there’s a time limit I’ll try to be more timely. How can I prevent my topics being closed before they are resolved?
I love WordPress and appreciate all those who post in the forums, despite my frustrations.
