Merging of two accounts or Deletion of one

Hi,
I had a wordpress account and wanted a gravatar account for a 2nd email address of mine. Without knowing that i could have a single account with multiple emails, I created a 2nd account.So I now have 2 accounts which I would like to merge.
Alternatively, I would like to delete the 2nd and just add its address to the first one.Is something like that possible?

Technically speaking merging 2 accounts is not possible however you can transfer the ownership of your site (blog address) from your 2nd account to your 1st account. Say for example your 1st account owns myfirstaccount.wordpress.com and your 2nd account owns mysecondaccount.wordpress.com. You can transfer mysecondaccount.wordpress.com to your 1st account.

To unsubscribe from any email notifications from WordPress.com, go to the subscription settings of your 2nd account and check the box that says Block Emails and click save. I dont have any site related to any account but instead only avatars in gravatar.
This is why I wanted to just transfer / merge.
I guess I could add a garbage email so I can remove my primary email and then add that to my main account. Then I can leave the other one inactive.I was hoping that there was a better way to achieve what I wanted.

Oh I see. Yes you can also do that. You can create another email account that you won’t use and add that so you can free your primary email. Once your primary email is free, you can now add that to the account you want.
