Add topic to favorites
I would like to be able to control the download function on my photos. I see this sharing feature on videos but not images. Are there plans for adding such functionality? I’m concerned about readers downloading copyrighted photos I have licensed.

There is no such protection here, and it’s really not something you can effectively prevent, either. I’m no hacker but it takes me seconds to work around right-click protection.

You can use the Monotone or Duotone themes, which disable right clicking on most photos, but that’s it.

IMO your best bet is to watermark your images and post a copyright notice. This will deter some but not all thieves. As raincoaster said right click disabling is easily defeated. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2007/10/19/watermark-your-blog-images/

My concern is I post a lot of pics from iStockPhoto which are already watermarked.

I haven’t had issues after over a year. Just checking though. Would be a nice feature. I’m in computer security myself and understand protection is just a matter of degrees. Thanks for your responses.
