Making the homepage the front page
-
Hi,
I want the front page, with blog posts, widgets, etc. to be the homepage. All I have found so far are instructions about how to make the front page static. That is NOT what I want. I want it so that, if I click on the ‘Home’ tab, it brings you to the front page. Can anyone help me?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

By default the blog is already set up exactly that way. Change nothing and you are good to go.

This is the home page of your other blog http://multipleintelligencesoasis.wordpress.com/

I want, for http://multipleintelligencesoasis.wordpress.com/, to be able to click on the HOME tab and have it redirect to the front page.

If it’s not doing that now it’s only because you changed it here > Settings > Reading
Go back there and choose this:
Reading Settings
Front page displays __ Your latest posts -
Just change it back. Right now you’ve made a static page into your home page.
Settings —> Reading—>select “your latest posts”—>Save -
I have the Settings set up so that the Front Page displays my latest posts, which IS what I want. The issue is that The Front Page and The Home Page are two different pages. I created a Home Page, because this Theme didn’t provide one. Is there anyway to have this new, Home Page, which I created, show the content of The Front Page?

Use a custom menu:

and this:

scroll down to this:* Home link
Clicking Select All in the Pages module will reveal a ready-to-use “Home” item. -
I have actually already done all of that. My home page is still different from my front page …. does anyone know if there is even a possibility of making my home page the same as my front page?
