Lost access of blog after blog-transfer

I was trying to separate a blog from my personal account but managed to lose access to my personal blog. After the transfer I got an email saying:

You recently selected to transfer your blog ‘haziqnoorariff.wordpress.com’ to the user ‘haziqnoorariff’

But when I tried to access haziqnoorariff.wordpress.com blog using my email I got this error:

ERROR: There is no user registered with that email address.

When I tried my username ‘haziqnoorariff’ I got this error:

ERROR: The password you entered for the email or username haziqnoorariff is incorrect.

If I tried to get a new password to my username I got this error:

The e-mail could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function…

    Can anyone help me?

It sounds like you’re going to need staff help to sort this out. Honestly hte transfer process isn’t as smooth as it should be. Contact them from whatever dashboard you can still get to, using the big grey Help button.

I tried what you suggested raincoaster, but it still says that they’re limiting the contact form to customers with upgrades only. I don’t know how else to contact the staff…

One can send a direct email to them to support@wordpress.com

    @Dewankhilafah

I liked your gravatar having ‘Kalima’ written in Arabic.

Thanks hnsaifi! I can send them direct email? You’re saying I shouldn’t I just wait for the staff here?

You can send a direct email, but with the current backlog, you’d probably be waiting a lot longer.

In the past, you chose to change the name of your user account haziqnoorariff to dewankhilafah and selected to delete it in the process.

Deleted usernames cannot be recovered, so I have transferred the blog back to your dewankhilafah account.

Wow thanks macmanx! You guys are certainly helpful!

Yeah, back then I was frustrated that I couldn’t make a new username ‘dewankhilafah’ before properly transfering the blog. Maybe I should’ve paid attention to this sentence back then:

Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for anyone else to use.

Nevermind now – they’re just usernames anyway. I’m just happy that I got my blog back! Thanks again guys.
