  All my widgets in the footer will not show up on four blogs where I use the Twenty-Eleven theme (another site using a different theme is fine). The footer widgets are still there according to my dashboard, but they are gone when viewing the blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Thanks timethief. You are more informative than WordPress staff, who implemented these changes without a beep. I spent hours setting up these four blogs, picking the theme that will work best, only to have WordPress wreck it. I sincerely hope they create a “fix” to bring back footer widgets because mine contain vital info, including disclaimers, copyright notices, and so on…

  Hello again,
  I know exactly what you mean and how you feel. I switched themes yesterday as I’m avoiding all stress while recovering from a health issue. Perhaps you might consider doing that temporarily.
