  My website in Gazette theme is a online magazine, therefore the articles are written by a lot of different people. I don’t want the have to give them all a wordpress-account, but I would like to put their names in the author-box..

  Now I’m writing the authors-names manually below each article, but is there anyone who knows a better solution to this?

  Hi, if you don’t want to add them as a contributor, which would require them to have a WordPress.com account (they don’t have to have a blog, just an account) then the way you are doing it is the only way. The author name is pulled from the user’s profile information.
