Login and unfound user problems

I can no longer get logged into my website, and /admin/ or /login/ takes me to blank pages.
When I try to reset password, or find email, or such, I’m not found. I still receive periodic notices of WP updates made automatically to my site to my email, so I’m in the system in some way. Today, I tried making a new account (but this seemed to be taking me down the wrong path) to just get into the system with my email, hopefully to have the system say ‘hey, we already have the email, let’s find you’ but i didn’t get that kind of response.
