hi

i am using the karuna theme and i seen on the demo that the social media links show on the top bar but i cant seen to see where to add it ?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can do that using WordPress.com Customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/

Open Customizer on your WordPress.com site with the Karuna theme enabled and open Menu > Social Media to configure the links.

Oh, you can also customize the location on Menu > View all locations.

Hi mots88 – the social menu is a unique menu location that shouldn’t replace any other menu. I

Looks like you have a demo social menu currently linking to the homepages of Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. Open your Customizer‘s Menus panel, select your Social Media menu, and edit the links to point to your own social-media profiles.

I also noticed that you have a custom menu called Primary, but it’s not currently assigned to your site. You can also do that while you’re in your Customizer’s Menus panel. It will replace the theme’s default menu that is currently displayed on your site.

My social media icons are showing as links and not the icon for the relevant site. This seems to be a menu issue rather than theme as its carrying over to different themes when i try to amend too

hippieinlippy – From what I see on hippieinlippy.wordpress.com, you need to use Pinterest.com and not the .co.uk variation. Your Instagram icon looks fine. If you need further help, could you please start your own thread? Thanks!
