just upgraded 7.05 desktop

i cant reblog posts from app it wants me to use the edge web app as default. i want full usage of your desktop beta
now as i try to reblog share all i get is a blank white window and does not connect anywhere
can i not use both my our desktop app at times and the edge app other times
talk to microsoft

Can you clarify what “7.0.5 beta” version is for? Is that the WordPress desktop app, your Edge browser version, or your version of Windows?
If it’s the app version, please let us know the following:
– Windows OS version (XP, 7, 10, etc.)
– Edge browser version numberOnce we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise. Thanks!

That should be fine, but the beta releases are for testing and not guaranteed to be stable.
Would you please see if you still have trouble after fully deleting that and re-installing the stable version? https://apps.wordpress.com/desktop/

uninstall reinstall resulted no change cant reblog from app
and yet the created wordpress app within the edge browser works
strange.
i prefer to use your wordpress desktop app personally

Thanks for the additional information. It sounds like you might be impacted by a bug in the app that other users are experiencing in the web browser. Since a Reblog technically creates a new post, it does fit this particular bug.

In the meantime, you will need to use the Edge browser for Reblogs until we can get this fixed.
