Jetpack summary stats not working

Jetpack summary stats (Total Views, Visitors, Likes, etc.) not showing results/data for day, week, month, etc. totals. Current calendar day is also not showing up on bar graph anymore. Detailed stats for each post viewed today, country, author, etc. seems to be working and showing accurate number of views for the day, but no top line summary data. Stats has worked fine for 4+ years…until today.

Hey there @granfondodailynews, I understand there’s a recent change that lets you select a period to display. It defaults to Last 30 Days, which works well for day views, but not so much for Months or Years if it’s showing a year view of the last 30 days.

Can you try setting that to a longer duration to see if that helps? I’m sharing feedback with the team on this as well.

Does not help. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly Stats still broken. Daily summary stats do not continuously update during the current day – actually no data is displayed. Daily summary stats only show up after the fact on the next day. Only shows monthly stats for current month – no graph/data for previous monthly history. Yearly stats only have data from current month, not YTD or for previous 4 years.

OK. Adjusting date range does fix weekly, monthly, yearly summary stats…but daily still only updates on the next day, rather than continuously like previously.

Thanks. I’ve shared feedback on this, by the way; they’re going to see if they can make that a smoother experience.

I’m not sure I see what you’re seeing here; can you send more info, or even an annotated screenshot?

If I’m looking at my Daily view, I can click through with arrows or click on a bar. Views/Visitors/Likes are all updating properly, along with the data below that.

@granfondodailynews good news; they’ve just implemented the suggested change regarding yearly / monthly stats. Can you refresh and see if that’s better?

And thank you for the screenshots. We’ll see what more we can find on that, too.

Jetpack Stats still not working correctly. Problem seems to be with the date/time zone used to calculate all summary totals. New changes implemented only use the date/time zone where I physically reside (UTC -6), whereas my site operates using UTC +6. Stats should always be calculated based on the site’s date/time stamp…
