Is WordPress suitable for my site?

I’ve bought my domain and i’ve got my website idea, but I need to know how to go about building the site.

    The concept is simple:
I need a site whereby users can register and login.
They can save data in a “list” that they have created within their control panel of the site.
This data can then be refreshed on demand – some sort of push/pull function if you will.
Ideally, I’d want to create a system whereby the above data and lists can identify keywords upon refreshing.

Question One: Can wordpress do the above?
Question Two: Would a host such as BlueHost cope with this sort of site?
    Question Three: wordpress.com or wordpress.org?

I’m a complete novice at this so I appreciate any help!

    hi,

.. a site whereby users can register and login…
.. save data in a “list” ..and lists can identify keywords upon refreshing ..

Question One: Can wordpress do the above?

The first part of your question is a membership site.
A common way of creating a membership site on WordPress.com is to install a membership plugin on the Business Plan. We recommend WooCommerce Memberships, as other membership plugins don’t currently work well with WordPress.com.

Another way to create a membership site without needing a Business plan upgrade is explained in this tutorial: https://en.support.wordpress.com/tutorials/build-a-membership-website-tutorial/

The second part of the question about creating lists is not immediately clear to me.
It sounds like a project that will require you specifying more details of your requirement to a WordPress professional.
We have a directory of professionals that offer WordPress services at https://jetpack.pro/.

Question Two: Would a host such as BlueHost cope with this sort of site?

This will depend very much on what your eventual project will require in terms of custom code, bandwidth, storage, CPU resources etc.
Generally, for projects just getting off the ground, hosting companies like BlueHost will be sufficient.

    Question Three: wordpress.com or wordpress.org?

Here is a site to help you decide between the two:
