How to restore my blog to a new domain. My domain gracenet canceled my blog blog.globalmissionmc.org that was pointed to the IP of Charity Advantage. They say any back up files have been lost … The blog is important to our web site. I see our blog listed under my blogs on word press. I have not found a way to access the dashboard to reentate a new domain connection. how can I restore access to my global mission ministry center blog? Can I talk to a live tecq person?

I’m afraid that blog isn’t hosted on WordPress.com and never has been. It’s showing up on your list of blogs because it’s using WordPress.ORG software. You might be able to get support for that at the http://wordpress.org/support site.

If the blog was not hosted on WordPress.com then there would be no backup here.
The blog may be listed on your wp.com account because you had installed jetpack on your wp.org site.
In order to access jetpack you need a wp.com account, but that does not mean your site was hosted here.
Jetpack gives wp.ORG users access to many of the features available to wp.COM users without having to add extra plugins.
The folks who hosted your site may have backups which you might could use to install your site here on wp.com or on another host, using the WordPress.ORG software.
