I am building a page that has varied content on it. For instance there will be videos, galleries and text areas. I would like to be able to place comment areas under different sections of the page so that people can give feedback on that specific part. Is there something like a shortcode that I can use to put additional comment areas where I choose on a page?
ThanksThe blog I need help with is loveyogaanatomy.com.
See here for the contact form http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

I have never done what you suggest and hope it does work for you.Hi timethief, not quite what I was after. The contact form allows for someone to send you a message, I want multiple visitors to be able to leave a comment like they would normally at the end of a post. Thanks for the idea though.
Sorry but that and the comment boxes on each post and page are all we have to offer.
There is currently one theme on WordPress.com that has display of comments on the front page and would pretty much allow what you want: P2
@jsutjennifer
Brilliant catch! Thanks.Further complication as I am using pagelines as my theme so can’t swap, too late. Thanks though
I apologize for not apprehending this earlier. That is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. Note that we do not provide support here at WordPress.COM for any installs of WordPress.ORG software. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs being hosted right here on this multiuser blogging platform.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
sorry, I have the jetpack plugin installed at use it’s comment system, so I thought there might be something to do with that as it has shortcodes for lots of things.
I’m sorry I did not identify the fact that yours is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. That was a failure on my part.
The JetPack plugin is a plugin that provides features to WordPress.com users what we WordPress.com bloggers have built-in and we Volunteers do not answer JetpPck questions.
Please look here http://jetpack.me/support/
Also note that the Jetpack forum is at WordPress.org http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post there.
If you can’t find help at either one then you can file a jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
Edit: “to WordPress.com users” was meant to be WordPress.ORG users
Alrightey then, moving along, nothing to see here. ;-)
(Banging head on keyboard is not recommended for the already visually challenged.) ;-)
thanks anyway, sorry to waste your time.
Best wishes to you. :)
