dear Support team
1) I’d like to create a new blog to share adresses of restaurants.
My idea is to have a simple world map where users can clic on countries to see the restaurant assocuated to each coutry.Ideally, I would love to add filter (michelin starred restaurant / french ones or italian ones).
Can I do this easily ?
2) it is possible to make a url-link with a image (not with a word) ?

Hi there!
I’d like to create a new blog to share adresses of restaurants.
My idea is to have a simple world map where users can clic on countries to see the restaurant assocuated to each coutry.
Ideally, I would love to add filter (michelin starred restaurant / french ones or italian ones).
Can I do this easily ?You will need to use a third-party theme or a combination of plugins to add features like a world map where users can click on countries to see the restaurants and filters. Those features are not built into WordPress.com sites.
For suggestions on plugins/themes to add such features, you may want to post on the WordPress.org community forum here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums –
Another thing to note: You will need the WordPress.com Business plan to install third-party plugins or themes on a WordPress.com site.
And if you host your site with another hosting service provider, you will be using the WordPress.org software, in which case, you will want to post on the support forum linked above as we can only provide help with WordPress.com sites.
There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.
it is possible to make a url-link with a image (not with a word) ?
Yes! You can insert an image and add a link to that image. The instructions vary depending on where the image is being inserted. If you’re using the block editor, see the instructions here for adding a link to an image.
