Incomplete import from Xanga

    Hi there, I’ve been trying to import my archive files from Xanga. The archive I downloaded had 8 xml files, but even after uploading all eight, it’s only restored 1 year of my content. I have 9 years worth in total. Appreciate any help, thanks!

    Hi @tanjonny, I know that import can be a bit finicky. Are you uploading them one at a time in numerical order, starting with 0? And, would you mind trying that again?

    If that doesn’t work, we’ll find a way for you to get the files to us so we can take a look.

    Hi @supernovia, I initially uploaded them one at a time – but immediately one after each other. 2nd time round, I uploaded one, waited for WordPress to email that it had completed, and then upload the next. But neither seemed to work. It still only shows the same content after I had uploaded the first xml file.

    With each xml that I upload, I’m supposed to see additional content – or is it a case whereby only once all 8x are uploaded that I see it populated?

    In any case, do let me know if forwarding over the files would make this easier. Am grateful to help bring back 9 years of my life :)
