I have imported xml file from my Squarespace blog but it is still in progress. Can you please check.

We do not yet have an importer tool for Squarespace. Our developers are currently working on one but I do not yet have a date for when it may be available. Once it’s available we should be announcing it at http://en.blog.wordpress.com/

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Squarespace provides export for wordpress only. It is guided to import using : Movable Type and TypePad

I used the Posterous import for my Squarespace .XML file and it work nicely. Posts, images, videos you name it!

No need to have developers work on a Squarespace version. Just rename Posterous to Squarespace (kidding….kinda).
