Import Images From Movable Type

  Is there a simple or intuitive way to import from my Movable Type blog all the images as well as the posts? I have 500+ posts all containing images, so manually re-uploading the images isn’t an option. The export option offered by Movable Type and the import option offered by WordPress.com seems to be limited currently to only posts/pages. Is this true?

  Hi there, when importing a site into WordPress.com, your images should normally be imported along with the posts and pages. If you run the import but images don’t get imported or certain images are missing, just let us know, and we can try to run a tool on your site that does a special import to “fill in” any missing images.
