which is a link to a website.

  • Hello there,

    Many thanks for reaching out.

and why do i get saving failed?

Can you tell me what error message you’re seeing there please?

Are you able to tell me more about what you’re looking to build and why please? The reason why I ask is because, taking a look at the above link produces something that’s quite antiquated by todays standards.

For instance, this is not responsive and this will have an effect SEO wise.

I’ll happily offer insights on how best to build what it is you’re looking to host.

does wordpress have a free domain like wix does?

.WordPress.com domains are free. Custom domains are free for the first year of registration with a plan.

  • there is no error message.

  • Hi @holland850, it’s not a built-in feature. You could probably get creative with an HTML block and some code, though, so long as the code is allowed:
    https://wordpress.com/support/code/

Or, if your plan supports plugins, there are Image Map plugins you could use. Again though, you’ll just want to ensure you choose something that works on mobile, since so many people use mobile devices now.
