Illustratr – No Sidebar option on my theme but I would like to add one?

    I am using the theme illustratr… which i LOVE… but the only Widget available is the footer. I am looking to get a sidebar on my site as i think its necessary for my readers. I don’t ant to change theme so is there any way I can do this or am I going to have to look at changing theme? If so is there a way to do this that won’t entirely mess up the way my site looks currently as Ive worked quite hard to make it beautiful and personalised!
    Any advice will be much appreciated!
