Ideation & Intent – Replacing photo sidebar with widget sidebar in posts

Good morning,

I’ve just converted the site of our artistic newspaper (www.mondepasrond.org) to the Ideation & Intent theme.

Is it possible to show the widgets bar, instead of the photos bar, in individual posts?

Go to Appearance > Widgets and move the WordPress Widgets around in the sidebars for that Theme to make them as you wish.

Hmm, it appears that this template does not allow you to show the widgets side bar in individual posts, nor to modify the Photos sidebar in any way. I’m still stuck!

The way the theme is designed to operate is stated on the detailed theme description page: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/ideation-and-intent/

Sidebars
A custom Images sidebar has been built into Ideation & Intent. This sidebar will display images from the latest 10 posts that have image attachments. Up to 8 images will be displayed for each post and each image links directly to the post it is attached to.

A second sidebar is available to use, but only if you choose to do so. You can customize its display by adding any number of widgets via Appearance → Widgets. Please note that this sidebar will only display if it has been populated with widgets. It will also be hidden when viewing single posts and pages.

Thank you timethief. That was my fear! And it appears that no footer can be added to the template either.

Looks like I’ll have to look for a similar theme to Ideation & Intent, which allows the widget column to be shown on all posts. Any suggestions?
