I want to delete my account, why can' t it be done?

    I want to delete my account for personal reasons, I read it can’ t be done but this is totally unfair, I should have all the right to remove m account and my personal information from the web!

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    First, you have to understand it is not YOUR account. The account belongs to WP as do all other accounts on their server. You’re just using it and they do not permit deletion of their property.

    You can edit the account details to change/scramble/obscure the information you entered when signing up.

    Then, remember to be careful where you put your personal information on the web and that it is probably visible in more ways than you expected.
