  Are you moving your blog to a self hosted site with WordPress.ORG software or making a new site without the WordPress software at all?

  Either way you don’t need to delete anything – just change the name-servers where you registered your Domain to point to your new site then set your site here to Private so you don’t have duplicate content and you be done.
