I need help getting my blog to be set up like the Resonar template.

Here is my blog so far:
https://millermc1958.wordpress.com/
I have written my first post but for the life of me cannot figure out to get it to display under the picture of the house with a link to the entire post…..just like the Resonar template, you scroll down and directly under the main picture are the beginnings of each post with a link to the entire post. I am not a techie so please keep the explanation simple. Any help would be greatly appreciated! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
It looks like you’ve set a static front page on your site, but for your site to look like the Resonar demo you need to use the post page instead.
Click on My Sites, then click the Customize button next to Themes to enter the Customizer.
Click on Static Front Page.
Unselect La Cabana under both options there, and then select Your latest posts at the top.
Click Save.
Next, go to My Site ->Blog Posts. If you create a post there, give it a featured image and set it as a sticky post, it will show at the top with the big image.
The rest of your posts that are not set to sticky will show under that first post with a smaller image.
La Cabana is a page, so it won’t show on the front page.
You can find instructions for your theme here:

Thank you so much for your help, your step-by-step instructions are so easy to follow. Dare I ask for help with another item…..you mentioned that I have set La Cabana as the home page, is there a way to also make it a post so that it appears above the post I just worked with?
Thank you in advance,

You will need to go to My Site ->Pages and edit your La Cabana page. Highlight the content of the page and copy it.
Then go to Posts ->Add to create a new post, and paste the content into the post.
There’s no way to convert a page into a post, so you need to manually copy and paste the content from the one to the other.
Posts will always show the most recent one at the top, unless you set a post as a sticky post in which case it will appear in the featured section at the very top of the front page.
